The original antique from which this Kirman Medallion pattern rug was adapted probably dates from the 19th Century. The color palette used in this pattern comes entirely from our Multi-Color Panel Kirman, making it a perfect complement. Emphasis has been placed on the rich indigo blue, brick and madder reds, tobacco golds and browns, olives and accents of soft aqua, soft coral and burgundy. Throughout the field, the colors have been abraded using many shades of each color, providing a striae effect typical of aged vegetable dyed yarns.
