With Millenials developing a growing interest in rug styles, new color hues have given new life to conventional styles. Overdyeing, for example, a technique that applies unconventional hues such as magenta, turquoise, emerald or amethyst to traditional styles, worn or threadbare (often vintage), has been dominant in recent years.
